08:25 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were cautiously higher pre-bell Wednesday as traders looked ahead to the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision and a string of earnings from major technology stocks.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were 0.1% higher, S&P 500 futures were up 0.3%, and Nasdaq futures were 0.4% higher.
Oil prices were higher, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude up 0.2% at $63.94 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude 0.1% higher at $60.21 per barrel.
The Federal Open Market Committee is scheduled to release a policy statement at 2 pm ET. Forecasters are expecting a 25-basis-point rate cut.
Microsoft ( MSFT ) , Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), and Meta Platforms ( META ) are scheduled to release quarterly earnings after the closing bell.
