04:08 PM EDT, 08/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Federal Reserve Board announced that Adriana Kugler will step down from her position as governor, effective Aug. 8.

Kugler has served as a governor since September 2023 and plans to return to Georgetown University as a professor, the Fed said Friday in a statement.

Kugler missed the Fed's most recent policy meeting this week and did not vote.
