05:45 PM EDT, 05/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- FedEx Freight (FDXF) will join the S&P 500 before the open of trading on June 2, S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Wednesday.

FedEx ( FDX ) is spinning off FedEx Freight in a transaction expected to close on June 1, according to the statement.

FedEx Freight will replace EPAM Systems ( EPAM ) in the S&P 500. EPAM ( EPAM ) will join the S&P SmallCap 600 in place of Shutterstock ( SSTK ) , S&P said.
