Florida Dominates List of 10 Most Expensive Home Sales in February, Redfin Says
Mar 13, 2025 2:08 PM

04:52 PM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Majority of February's 10 most-expensive home sales occurred in Florida, with an aggregate of seven spots belonging to the Sunshine State, Redfin (RDFN) said Thursday.

Properties in Florida held all top three rankings and four of the top five, led by a estate in Manalapan that sold for $49.1 million, according to the report.

"While Florida residents have been grappling with soaring insurance costs and intensifying natural disasters, the state is still a magnet for wealthy Americans," Redfin wrote.

Two estates in southern California and one penthouse in New York City rounded out the 10 highest-priced home sales list for February.

Pending home sales in the US declined during the four weeks ended March 2 amid economic uncertainty and elevated prices, Redfin said last week.

Sequential home price growth sped up at the fastest pace since November 2023 in January, the brokerage said in February.
