09:30 AM EDT, 10/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of gold and silver mining companies were falling in premarket activity Tuesday amid lower precious metal prices.
Barrick Mining ( B ) shares were down nearly 7%, Agnico Eagle Mines ( AEM ) shares were down 6.7%, Kinross Gold ( KGCRF ) fell 7.4%, Newmont ( NEM ) dropped 6.4%, Eldorado Gold ( EGO ) shed 7.1%, AngloGold Ashanti ( AU ) slumped 8%, and Gold Fields ( GFI ) tumbled 8.4%.
Among silver miners, Pan American Silver ( PAAS ) was down 8.3%, Hecla Mining ( HL ) fell 9.3%, First Majestic Silver ( AG ) dropped 9.1%, while Coeur Mining ( CDE ) fell 12% and Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) tumbled past 10.4%.
Gold prices were falling 3.2% to $4,220 per ounce, and silver was down 5% to $48.82 per ounce.
