Indian benchmark indices are in a bullish mood as the equities rose for the second consecutive day of this week.

Sensex closed at 37,535.66 up by 481.56 points while Nifty closed at 11,301.20 up by 133.20 points. Around 1,595 shares advanced, 1,088 shares declined and 147 shares remained unchanged in the yesterday's trading session.
Sectors that remained in the green territory are FMCG, metal, pharmaceuticals, energy, and others while IT and PSU banks saw some selling.
