Here’s a look at buzzing stocks for trade on August 20

The Indian market is likely to open lower Thursday on weak global cues after the overnight release of July meeting minutes from the US Federal Reserve’s policymaking body. At 8 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 143.75 points or 1.26 percent lower at 11,284.20, indicating a negative start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Here are the top 10 buzzing stocks for today:

1. PNB Housing Finance

: The company’s board has approved raising up to Rs 1,800 crore equity capital.

2. Titan Company: The company said that it is fully hedged with gold on lease and gold bought from stock markets. The ineffective hedge loss due to mismatch in sales quantity will be reversed subsequently with a corresponding reversal of stock gain accrued in the Q1FY21, it added.

3. Yes Bank: The bank has sold entire stake of 6.34 crore equity shares (10.12% stake) in CG Power & Industrial Solutions in various tranches.

4. L&T Finance Holdings: The company’s board has approved raising up to Rs 200 crore via non-convertible debentures.

5. Zee Learn: Ajey Kumar has resigned as Managing Director of the company.

6. IIFL Wealth Management: The company’s board has a declared special dividend of Rs 40 per share. The record date is set on August 27.

7. Chalet Hotels: Rajeev Newar has resigned from the post of CFO of the company w.e.f. August 19.

8. Cosmo Films: The company’s board has given in-principle nod for its foray in pet care business. The pilot project id expected by early 2021 with an investment of Rs 15 crore over the next 18 months in NCR.

9. Ramky Infrastructure: The company’s net loss in Q1FY21 widened to Rs 61.96 crore from Rs 5.77 crore, YoY. Revenue fell to Rs 238 crore from Rs 546.67 crore, YoY.

10. Ruchi Soya Industries: The company’s Q1FY21 net profit fell to Rs 12.3 crore from Rs 14.01 crore while revenue declined to Rs 3,043 crore from Rs 3,112.3 crore, YoY.
