The Indian market is likely to open higher Friday ahead of the Reserve Bank of India’s monetary policy outcome amid positive global cues. The central bank is expected to keep the key policy rates unchanged. At 7:45 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 62.50 points or 0.42 percent higher at 14,930.50, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Here are the top 10 buzzing stocks for today:

1. Hero MotoCorp

: The company’s Q3FY21 net profit rose 23.2 percent to Rs 1,084.5 crore from Rs 880.4 crore, while revenue increased 39.7 percent to Rs 9,775.8 crore from Rs 6.996.7 crore, YoY.

2. Vedanta: The board approved an expansion of Lanjigarh alumina refinery from 2 MTPA to 5 MTPA at a cost of Rs 3,779 crore.

3. Biocon: The company signed an agreement with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), to expand access to lifesaving cancer biosimilars in over 30 countries in Africa and Asia.

4. MCX: The company has awarded the contract for the implementation of Commodity Derivatives Platform to Tata Consultancy Services and issued Letter of Intent (LOI) to TCS to commence the project immediately.

5. Bharat Electronics: The company has entered into an offset contract with Russian company JSC Rosoboronexport.

8. PSP Projects: The company has received additional work order worth Rs 236 crore for an institutional project at Gujarat, and is ranked L1 bidder for projects worth Rs 420.89 crore medical colleges construction in UP.

9. Container Corporation of India: The company’s Q3FY21 consolidated net profit rose to Rs 234.3 crore from Rs 180.9 crore, while revenue increased to Rs 1,766.9 crore from Rs 1,544.7 crore, YoY.

10. Trent: The company’s Q3FY21 net profit rose 30.2 percent to Rs 64 crore from Rs 49.2 crore, while revenue fell 13.6 percent to Rs 853.6 crore from Rs 988.3 crore, YoY. Board approved raising up to Rs 500 crore via NCDs.
