The Indian market is likely to open higher Tuesday following a rally in major global indices. At 7:55 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 32.50 points or 0.21 percent higher at 15,174.50, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Here are the top 10 buzzing stocks for today:

1. BPCL

: The company’s net profit in Q3FY21 rose 23.6 percent to Rs 2,778 crore from Rs 2,248 crore, while revenue increased 33.1 percent to Rs 66,731.5 crore from Rs 50,146.4 crore, QoQ.

2. Wipro: The IT major has appointed Michael Seiger as the Country Head for Germany and Austria.

3. Future Retail: The Delhi High Court has stayed the single judge bench order directing ‘status quo’ on Future Retail - Reliance deal till the next hearing.

4. NMDC: The company’s Q3FY21 net profit rose 53.3 percent to Rs 2,108 crore from Rs 1,375 crore, and revenue jumped 44.9 percent to Rs 4,355.1 crore from Rs 3,006.4 crore, YoY.

5. Torrent Pharmaceuticals: The company’s Q3FY21 consolidated net profit rose 18.3 percent to Rs 297 crore from Rs 251 crore, while revenue increased 1.5 percent to Rs 1,995 crore from Rs 1,966 crore, YoY.

6. Majesco: Third Alpha LLP, Third Edge Advisors LLP, Alpha Alternatives Multi Strategy Absolute Return Scheme, and Alpha Alternatives Fund Advisors LLP reduced their stake in the company to 2.56 percent from 5.65 percent via open market sale.

7. Jindal Stainless (Hisar): The company’s consolidated profit in Q3FY21 jumped to Rs 270.20 crore from Rs 82.04 crore, while revenue rose to Rs 3,146.65 crore from Rs 2,484.12 crore, YoY.

8. Sun TV Network: The company’s consolidated profit in Q3FY21 rose 18.3 percent to Rs 445.41 crore from Rs 384.69 crore, while revenue increased 17.2 percent to Rs 994.14 crore from Rs 847.81 crore, YoY.

9. Galaxy Surfactants: The company’s Q3FY21 net profit rose 77.59 percent to Rs 85.23 crore from Rs 47.99 crore, while revenue increased 7.9 percent to Rs 674.70 crore from Rs 625.89 crore, YoY.

10 .AstraZeneca Pharma India: The company’s December quarter net profit fell 21 percent YoY to Rs 21.05 crore while revenue declined 10.5 percent YoY to Rs 200.25 crore.
