The Indian market is likely to open higher Friday following gains in global markets. At 8:00 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 30.35 points or 0.29 percent higher at 10,582.20, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

1. J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals:
Global investment firm KKR will acquire 54 percent stake in the company for up to Rs 3,109 crore in various tranches. KKR will acquire its stake from the founding Mody family at a price of Rs 745 per share and make an open offer for an additional 26 percent of the company.
2. Hindustan Unilever: Emami said it is seeking legal help against Hindustan Unilever’s use of ‘Glow & Handsome’ brand name as it had already launched a week back in its brand ‘Emami Glow and Handsome’.
3. Axis Bank: The bank will wind down and close the operations of its subsidiary Axis Bank UK Limited and targeting for surrendering of the banking license by end of April 2021, which has been reviewed with the UK regulators. The decision will not have any material impact on the operations or the financial position of the bank, it said.
4. Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd (MSSL): The company has approved a group reorganization plan. It announced demerger of Domestic Wiring Harness (DWH) business from MSSL into a new company and subsequent merger of Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd (SAMIL) into MSSL.
