The Indian market is likely to open lower Friday following a sell-off in global markets. At 8:10 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 106.00 points or 0.92 percent lower at 11,438.00, indicating a negative start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Here are the top 10 buzzing stocks for today:

1. Infosys:

The company will acquire 100 percent stake in product design and development firm, Kaleidoscope Innovation for $42 million.

2. Tata Motors: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) a Super Energy Service Company (ESCO) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, will procure 250 electric vehicles from Tata Motors and Hyundai Motor India.

3. Vodafone Idea: The company has clarified on the news of Verizon, Amazon may invest over $4 billion in the company saying that as a part of corporate strategy, the company constantly evaluates various opportunities for enhancing the stakeholders’ value.

4. Hindustan Aeronautics: Government will sell 502,462 equity shares to the company's eligible employees at Rs 950.95 per share via an offer for sale during September 4-9.

5. Adani Gas: Rating agency ICRA has upgraded the company's long-term rating to AA- and re-affirmed short-term rating at A1+ with a stable outlook.

6. GSFC: The company has restarted the Methanol plant with a daily installed capacity of 525 MT.

7. CreditAccess Grameen: The company’s board has approved raising of Rs 1,000 crore via equity.

8. Jubilant Industries: The company reported net loss of Rs 3.1 crore in Q1FY21 as against a profit of Rs 9.6 crore and revenue of Rs 94.3 crore as compared to Rs 151.8 crore, YoY.

9. 5Paisa Capital: The company’s board has approved raising Rs 900 crore via issue of equity shares.

10. Hind Rectifiers: The company’s Mumbai manufacturing plant has increased its capacity to 30 percent from 10 percent.
