06:04 PM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Interactive Brokers Group ( IBKR ) will replace Walgreens Boots Alliance ( WBA ) in the S&P 500, effective prior to the opening of trading on Thursday.

Sycamore Partners is acquiring Walgreens in a deal expected to be completed soon, S&P Dow Jones Indices, part of S&P Global ( SPGI ) , said Monday in a statement.

Talen Energy ( TLN ) will replace Interactive Brokers ( IBKR ) in the S&P MidCap 400, S&P Dow Jones Indices said.

Interactive Brokers ( IBKR ) shares rose 4% in after-hours trading, and Talen gained 4.1%.
