Intrepid Potash, Other Fertilizer Stocks Rise After Interior Department Adds Potash to Critical Minerals Draft List

12:38 PM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intrepid Potash ( IPI ) and other key fertilizer stocks rose in recent Monday trading after potash was included in a draft list of critical minerals by the US Department of the Interior.

The Department's US Geological Survey unit issued a notice seeking public comment on a draft list of 54 mineral commodities proposed for inclusion on the 2025 list of critical minerals.

Intrepid Potash ( IPI ) rose 3.9%, Nutrien ( NTR ) added 0.5%, and Mosaic (MOS) climbed 1.7%.
