08:22 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were little changed Wednesday, with investor sentiment stabilizing after the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit fresh record highs.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures flatlined, S&P 500 futures slipped 0.06%, and Nasdaq futures fell 0.1%.
Oil prices were lower, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude down 1.8% at $73.11 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude down 1.8% at $70.03 per barrel.
New home sales, scheduled for release at 10 am ET, are expected to drop to a 699,000 annual rate in August from 739,000 in the month prior, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
