Lack of buying from HNIs, retail players not helping the market, says Prabhudas Lilladher
Oct 26, 2018 11:10 AM

Prabhudas Lilladher on Friday said lack of buying from high net worth individuals (HNIs) and retail players are not helping the market.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Dilip Bhat, joint managing director, said, "The market hype up any bit of small negative news and try to ignore the good ones that are coming their way. So, this is one of those phases of the market which will have to live with it for some time."

Talking about stocks, Bhat said, "ICICI looks optimistic from the current levels. We are not talking about HDFC Bank as it remains a very core portfolio to everybody. Bajaj Finance looks interesting from the current levels also.”

"I would think about Larsen & Toubro and Asian Paints. I think it’s better to focus on the known and well-known names as they have come off," Bhat added.
