Sep 15, 2025 6:52 PM

08:15 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were little changed pre-bell Monday as traders remained sidelined ahead of this week's two-day Federal Open Market Committee meeting to set monetary policy.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were 0.2% higher, S&P 500 futures were up 0.2%, and Nasdaq futures were 0.1% higher.

The rate-setting meeting will kick off Tuesday with a policy statement scheduled for release at the meeting's conclusion at 2 pm ET Wednesday.

Oil prices were higher, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude up 0.3% at $67.17 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude 0.4% higher at $62.96 per barrel.

The Empire State Manufacturing Index, scheduled for release at 8:30 am ET, is seen coming in at 4.30 for September versus 11.90 previously, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
