08:02 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were little changed in premarket activity Monday as traders stayed on the sidelines ahead of a Federal Reserve meeting starting Tuesday.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slipped 0.1%, S&P 500 futures declined 0.1%, and Nasdaq futures were flat.
The Federal Open Market Committee will kick off its two-day meeting to discuss monetary policy on Tuesday.
Oil prices were higher, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude up 0.8% at $80.27 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude up 0.8% at $76.13 per barrel, buoyed by hopes for rising fuel demand this summer.
