Marcellus Investment Managers bullish on IT space
Jan 24, 2019 9:44 AM

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Pramod Gubbi, co-founder of Marcellus Investment Managers, shared their reading and outlook on specific stocks and sectors.

On markets, he said, "It is going to be a tough time for those who are taking a short term view because the number of variables at play are just simply impossible to track."

On IT space, Gubbi said, "It is still one of the better places to be in the market given the sort of liquidity tightening that I was talking about. I do not see any reason how the rupee will come back. If at all you were to take a call on the rupee, it would be for further depreciation unless and until we see a dramatic impact of the liquidity tightening. So, given that I think IT is still one of the better places to be in. Fundamentally, as well I think the sector has done well in terms of investing in capability building and that should also bear fruit over the next 12-24 months."
