Prashant Jain, Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer at HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd believes the market is neither expensive nor cheap, its reasonable.

The current 7-8 percent correction in the market is very normal level of correction for equities. He sees nothing out of place in it.

According to him, the economic outcome of India is better than what it was pre-COVID. The growth outlook is good. Over time one should look at average kind of returns in these markets.
