Market off highs but trades in the green; ICICI Bank gains 6%

​The market is currently off its highs with the BSE Sensex trading at 35,276 points, mildly off its day's high, and the NSE Nifty trading at 10,732 points. The market, though off highs, is still advancing in trade with ICICI Bank as the top index gainer.

ICICI Bank is among the top gainers today after declaring its Q4 results. The bank reported a Q4 net profit of more than Rs 1,000 crore, half of what it reported in the year-ago quarter and higher than the poll expectations. The stock is currently gaining more than 6% in trade.

The market advanced in the opening with the ICICI Bank and Reliance lifting the indices. The BSE Sensex opened at 35,265 points and the NSE Nifty at 10,750 points.

The Nifty Bank and the Nifty Midcap are also advancing in trade with the Nifty Bank gaining more than half a percent.

Aditya Birla Group, Jubilant Foodworks, Phoenix Mills, Sanofi, among others, will declare their quarterly results today.
