May start Samvat 2075 on a backfoot, says Atul Suri of Marathon Trends
Nov 7, 2018 8:52 AM

In an interview with CNBC-TV18's Latha Venkatesh, Anuj Singhal and Sonia Shenoy, Atul Suri, CEO of Marathon Trends-PMS shared his expectations from Samvat 2075 on the occasion of Mahurat trading.

On expectations from Samvat 2075, Atul said, Unlike last year, we start off on a backfoot, it is a very oversold market."

"There is a lot of fear. I have seen this level of fear among big participants after many years so the general mood is very somber," Suri said. They are optimistic in the medium to long-term, but in the short-term, the sentiment is a bit on the backfoot, he said.

"10,000 is what we have tested, so I personally think around 9,950 is a level I was looking at. I personally think that this could be a very good base for the market I would look at that with great keenness,” he added.
