The Indian market is likely to open lower on Monday, in line with Asian peers amid a sharp surge in crude oil prices. Among brokerages, Credit Suisse is bullish on Godrej Consumer while Kotak maintains a 'sell' call on Maruti. Here are the top brokerage calls for today:
Credit Suisse on Godrej Consumer: The brokerage has an 'outperform' rating on the stock with a target at Rs 630 per share. It added that the market share trends showed gains across categories in India as well as international business.
Kotak Institutional Equities on Maruti: The brokerage maintains 'sell' call on the stock and cut its target to Rs 4,900 from Rs 5,800 earlier. It added that valuations are expensive at this juncture.
HSBC on Asian Paints: HSBC maintains 'buy' call on Asian Paints, but cuts target to Rs 1,900 from Rs 2,000 per share. It noted that COVID-19 is likely to disrupt the paint category in the near term.
Credit Suisse on Avenue Supermarts: The brokerage maintains a 'neutral' rating on the stock with a target at Rs 2,050 per share. Store closure due to lockdown much higher than the expectation, it added.
