Most US stock indices gain ground as invetor assess corporate results

Most US stock indices edged up on Wednesday as investors analyze the corporate earnings results.

Investors in particular await the results of major banks such as JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley in the next few days.

On trading, Dow Jones rose 0.4%, or 190 points to 42930, while SP 500 rose 0.1%, or 5 points to 5820, as NASDAQ lost 0.1%, or 24 points to 18,291.
