New account openings surges while institutional participation has plunged

The number of new investor account openings have gone through the roof. There is a lot of new money which is participating in the market and at the same time the share of institutions and how active they are in the market has come down a bit as well.

CNBC-TV18’s Prashant Nair explains the numbers.
