Not optimistic on the prospects of the IT industry, says Dipan Mehta
Dec 24, 2018 8:11 AM

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Dipan Mehta, Member, BSE & NSE and market expert Ashwani Gujral shared their reading and outlook on specific stocks and sectors.

They spoke at length about Hero Motocorp, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, and Vedanta.

Talking about Infosys, Dipan Mehta said, “I am not that optimistic on the prospects of the IT industry or Infosys per se over the longer term period. So, who has a sizeable holding in Infosys should look at having a kind of exit strategy. IT companies especially, Infosys, TCS and the likes are not like those long term secular growth stories as they had been in the 1990’s and the 2000.”
