Promoter BOC India has made a delisting proposal for Linde India.
The offer opens on January 15th and closes on January 21st. The proposed date for acceptance and non-acceptance of the discount price would be January 28th.
The BOC group, which holds 75 percent in Linde India, intends to acquire 2.13 crore shares or 25 percent of the paid-up share capital, it said in a notice to the exchanges on November 9.
The objective of making the delisting offer is to obtain full ownership, which will provide the promoter group with operational flexibility to support the company’s business and future financing needs, the statement said
