Positive on telecom; bullish on tractors, says Kim Eng Securities India
Jan 7, 2021 9:15 AM

CEO of Kim Eng Securities India Jigar Shah is positive on the telecom sector from a medium to long-term and is constructive on the two-wheeler segment, given the export story.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, he said, "On telecom we continue to be positive for the medium to long-term because a long phase of uncertainty is over, the court case is over, deleveraging has begun in the sector. So a lot of the negative scenario is behind us. So from here you can see only good things happening in the telecom sector."

"We remain constructive on Bharti, we have a strong buy with a target price of Rs 700 plus. So we still see a good deal of upside there," Shah said.

On auto front, he explained, "We are not very convinced on cars and trucks. On two-wheelers where there is an export story, we are constructive and are bullish on tractors."
