“I think, good companies definitely would be count in, IndusInd Bank would be one of them, ICICI Bank of course is likely to participate as well. HDFC Bank has already given a big direction as far as the credit offtake is concerned,” Choksey said.

On Bharti Airtel Choksey said, “The stock price would continue to trade in a range and that is where buying will emerge at lower levels which we saw recently. I think traders will book profit out of this stock closer to Rs 500-550 level. So it is a trader’s delight at this point of time as far as Bharti Airtel is concerned.”

Talking about housing finance companies, Choksey said, “We basically like to play with housing finance companies. We feel they are relatively safer play in the entire real estate theme. Despite of cyclicality, I think housing finance remains relatively steady and growth provider. Companies like HDFC, the core business of lending on the mortgage side is available at a valuation which is far more lucrative. So to me this remains a safer business.”
