In corporate news, Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) autonomous vehicle unit Zoox announced Wednesday it has launched its robotaxi service in Las Vegas. Amazon ( AMZN ) shares were down 3.8%.
Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) Chief Executive Ed Bastian said customer confidence has bounced back after earlier concerns over tariffs and economic uncertainty caused a slowdown, especially in the spring, Bloomberg reported, citing his comments at the Economic Club of Washington. Delta shares rose 0.6%.
Lennar ( LEN ) is expected to report fiscal Q3 earnings below market estimates due to soft demand trends, while the homebuilder's long-term margins are likely to face incremental headwinds, Oppenheimer said in a note Wednesday. Lennar ( LEN ) shares were down 0.7%.
