Sector Update: Consumer Stocks Fall Pre-Bell Monday

09:11 AM EST, 02/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were falling pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) slightly declining and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) down 0.6%.

Domino's Pizza (DPZ) shares were up more than 6% after the company posted higher fiscal Q4 earnings and revenue, and raised its quarterly dividend by 15%.

PENN Entertainment ( PENN ) stock was down more than 1% after the company said it appointed three independent directors to its board as part of a cooperation agreement with activist investor HG Vora Capital Management.

Lululemon Athletica ( LULU ) said it will open its 100th store in its Europe, Middle East and Africa market on March 13. Lululemon Athletica ( LULU ) shares were nearly 1% lower premarket.
