In corporate news, Netflix ( NFLX ) shares fell nearly 10% after it reported Q3 earnings late Tuesday of $5.87 per diluted share, up from $5.40 a year earlier but below the FactSet consensus analyst estimate of $6.96.
Uber (UBER) is launching a program providing a $4,000 grant for US drivers who switch to electric vehicles as part of a rebrand of its Uber Green service to Uber Electric, Reuters reported. Uber shares were down 1.5%.
Beyond Meat ( BYND ) shares continued to rise after the company said Tuesday it will increase the availability of some of its plant-protein products at over 2,000 Walmart (WMT) stores in the US. Beyond shares added 8%.
