In corporate news, Sony's ( SONY ) Sony Music, Warner Music's ( WMG ) Warner Records and Universal Music are seeking damages from artificial intelligence companies Suno and Udio over mass copyright infringement, Reuters reported Monday. Sony ( SONY ) shares added 0.8% and Warner Music ( WMG ) rose 1%.
Paramount (PARA) is raising the price of its Paramount+ streaming service across different tiers, a company spokesperson confirmed to MT Newswires Monday. Its shares popped 1.7%.
Car dealerships including AutoNation ( AN ) , Lithia Motors (LAD) and Group 1 Automotive ( GPI ) warned of business disruptions on Monday after a cyberattack that occurred last week at third-party information systems vendor CDK Global.
