In corporate news, Netflix ( NFLX ) Chief Executive Ted Sarandos will visit the White House on Thursday to discuss its bid to buy Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) , Politico reported. It wasn't immediately known if Sarandos would meet with President Donald Trump, the report said. Netflix ( NFLX ) shares jumped past 5%, and Warner was down 0.6%.
Lowe's (LOW) issued a full-year earnings outlook below market estimates on Wednesday amid uncertainty in the home improvement market, even though the company recorded better-than-expected fiscal Q4 results. Its shares fell 5%.
