08:55 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining premarket Wednesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) recently fell by 0.5%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.9% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 0.1% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was slightly higher at $73.59 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil marginally advanced to $77.20 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 0.9% at $2.71 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Delek Logistics Partners LP ( DKL ) shares were down more than 11% after the company priced a public offering of about 3.8 million common units at $39 per unit.
