The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.1% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 3.2% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was slightly higher at $71.06 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.04% to $74.02 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 4.2% at $3.77 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
BW LPG ( BWLP ) shares were up more than 1% after the company said it has completed the $1.05 billion acquisition of 12 very large gas carriers from Avance Gas Holdings following the delivery of the final vessel, BW Avior, Tuesday.
