09:07 AM EST, 02/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks declined premarket Friday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) fell by 0.2% recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.8% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was over 2% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 0.5% at $72.09 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.5% to $76.12 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 2.1% higher at $4.24 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Solaris Energy Infrastructure ( SEI ) shares were up over 15% after the company reported an increase in Q4 revenue, while adjusted earnings declined.
