09:02 AM EST, 02/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were leaning lower premarket Wednesday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) slightly declining recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.4% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 1.2% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was unchanged at $68.93 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.1% to $72.94 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 2.7% lower at $4.06 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
DT Midstream ( DTM ) shares rose past 3% after the company reported Q4 operating earnings above analysts' expectations. The company also increased its quarterly dividend by 12%.
