09:07 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks leaned lower premarket Wednesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) 0.2% lower recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.6% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 0.1% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1% at $62.65 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.9% to $65.97 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 0.4% lower at $3.41 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Flex LNG ( FLNG ) shares were down 0.7% after the company reported lower Q1 adjusted earnings and vessel operating revenue.
