03:22 PM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks rose late Tuesday afternoon with the NYSE Energy Sector Index gaining 0.8% and the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) adding 1.2%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index climbed 3.2%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index increased 0.2%.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose 0.7% to $65.53 a barrel, and global benchmark Brent advanced 0.7% to $67.21 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 1.3% to $3.41 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Array Technologies ( ARRY ) shares rose 12% in recent trading Tuesday and SolarEdge Technologies ( SEDG ) gained 7.4% after the US Senate passed President Donald Trump's spending bill without an excise tax on solar and wind projects.
