09:03 AM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were advancing premarket Monday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) up 0.5%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 1% higher and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was down 0.4%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 0.5% higher at $64.20 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.5% to $66.92 per barrel. Natural gas futures were down 0.4% at $2.979 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Excelerate Energy ( EE ) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue.
