09:02 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining premarket Tuesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) down 0.4%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 1.6% lower and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was up 0.2%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 1.8% lower at $63.65 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 1.6% to $67.11 per barrel. Natural gas futures were up 1.1% at $2.839 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
BW LPG ( BWLP ) shares were down more than 4% after the company reported a decline in Q2 earnings.
