09:04 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were rising premarket Wednesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) advancing by 0.6%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 1.5% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 0.5% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 1.9% higher at $58.33 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 1.7% to $62.35 per barrel. Natural gas futures were up 1% at $3.509 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Woodside Energy Group ( WDS ) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported Q3 revenue that topped analysts' expectations and raised its 2025 production guidance.
