09:11 AM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were edging higher pre-bell Monday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) advancing by 0.4%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.5% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 1.9% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.1% at $61.55 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil slightly advanced 0.1% to to $66 per barrel, and natural gas futures were up 0.6% at $3.32 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Alliance Resource Partners ( ARLP ) stock was up 4.3% after the company reported Q3 earnings and revenue that topped analysts' estimates.
