09:09 AM EST, 12/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were edging higher premarket Tuesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) up 0.05%.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.6% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 0.9% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 0.6% at $58.95 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.6% to $62.77 per barrel. Natural gas futures were 1.5% lower at $4.847 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
BKV (BKV) stock was down more than 7% after the company priced an underwritten public offering of 6 million of its common shares at $26 apiece for $156 million in total gross proceeds.
