03:42 PM EST, 02/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were mixed late Tuesday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index up 0.1% and the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) easing 0.1%.

The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index was climbing 1.5%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index was adding 1%.

Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil was steady at $66.31 a barrel, and the global benchmark Brent crude contract shed 0.2% to $71.38 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures decreased 1.3% to $2.95 per 1 million BTU.

In corporate news, Constellation Energy ( CEG ) shares jumped past 6% after it reported Q4 adjusted earnings and operating revenue ahead of analyst estimates.
