01:44 PM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were mixed Monday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index rising 0.1% and the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) shedding 0.3%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index was dropping 2.4%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index rose 1.1%.
Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil was rising 3.9% to $103.53 a barrel, and the global benchmark Brent crude contract was advancing 0.1% to $112.76 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 5.2% to $2.87 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) and QatarEnergy's Golden Pass LNG joint venture in Texas has begun producing liquefied natural gas from the first of its three liquefaction trains. Exxon shares rose 1.1%.
