03:44 PM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were lower late Monday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index down 0.6% and the State Street Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE) falling 1%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index was dropping 3.3%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index rose 0.5%.
Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose 4.3% to $103.97 a barrel, and the global benchmark Brent crude contract climbed 1.3% to $114.02 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 4.7% to $2.88 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Fermi (FRMI) shares tumbled past 14% after it reported a net loss Monday of $1.13 per diluted share from Jan. 10 through Dec. 31, 2025.
