The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.3% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 1.3% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.2% at $59.70 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.2% to reach $63.61 per barrel, and natural gas futures were up 1% at $4.27 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
ConocoPhillips ( COP ) shares were down 0.4% after the company posted a decline in Q3 adjusted earnings, while revenue increased. ConocoPhillips ( COP ) also raised its quarterly ordinary dividend by 8% to $0.84 per share.
Canadian Natural Resources ( CNQ ) stock was up more than 1% after the company posted higher Q3 revenue.
TC Energy ( TRP ) shares were marginally lower after the company reported a decline in Q3 comparable earnings.
