09:28 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were advancing premarket Tuesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) 0.2% higher.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was 0.9% lower and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was down 3.4%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 0.7% lower at $63.52 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.5% to $66.33 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 3% at $2.86 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Venture Global ( VG ) stock was up more than 6% after the company reported higher Q2 net income and revenue.
BKV (BKV) shares were up more than 9% after the company said it swung to Q2 adjusted earnings as revenue increased during the period.
Kodiak Gas Services ( KGS ) shares were slightly higher after the company said it has repurchased 1.5 million shares for $50 million from Frontier TopCo Partnership, an affiliate of EQT Infrastructure III and IV.
