09:28 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining premarket Wednesday, with The Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) 1.4% lower.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 2.8% and The United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 2.7% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 2.6% at $59.15 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 2.6% to reach $63.23 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 3.7% higher at $4.53 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Cenovus Energy ( CVE ) shares were down more than 1% after the company priced an offering of senior notes comprised of four tranches in Canadian and US dollar denominations.
Constellation Energy ( CEG ) shares were up more than 1% after the company said it has finalized a $1 billion loan for its Crane Clean Energy Center in Pennsylvania from the US Department of Energy.
